Huddle has no accounts and no ad tracking. This page explains the small amount of data we keep and why.
What we collect
- Messages, drawings and poll votes, your chosen name, and when you sent them. Drawings are deleted when the huddle ends, except winning drawings, which are kept until the next round's results.
- Your IP address, used to enforce bans, limit spam and respond to lawful requests.
- Reports you submit or that others submit about your messages.
Your browser stores your chosen name, your huddle setting and that you confirmed the age check. This stays on your device.
How long we keep it
Chat logs, including IP addresses, are deleted automatically after 30 days. Ban records keep a one-way hash of your IP address for as long as the ban lasts. We may keep specific records longer when required by law or for an active investigation.
Who sees it
Other users see your name and messages only. Moderators can see reported messages and a hashed identifier, not your IP address. We share data with law enforcement only when legally required or to prevent serious harm, including mandatory reporting of child sexual exploitation.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts are requested.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under Canada's PIPEDA and the EU GDPR, you may ask what we hold about you or ask us to delete it. Because there are no accounts, include the approximate time and name you used. Contact rpmrcreations@gmail.com.
